From bhaktin Ekaterina Novodanova – Russia, Yekaterinburg

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to you, all glories to Srila Prabhupada!
On this wonderful day of your appearance I would like to express my gratitude to you for changing my life so significantly. I’m not sure that I am talented enough to do that in a proper manner, but I will try.
I am at the very beginning of my spiritual path. You allowed me to chant your pranam a year ago. But that short time was enough to me to realize that you are the person whose instructions I want to follow. You have done a lot for me.
I have a big spiritual family thanks to you. Of course, all the followers of Srila Prabhupada are one big family, but it’s only the association of your disciples that makes me feel at home.
It is only by your mercy I can perform my little service of making garlands for Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga. In Srimad Bhagavatam [3.21.12, comm.] Srila Prabhupada says: “Devotional service begins with the relationship of the individual soul and the Supreme Soul, or Krishna and Krishna’s devotees, and when one attains it there is no question of falling down.” As I meditate on these words I realize that I haven’t reached this level yet, and any service that I am in charge of I perform only by your mercy and on your behalf. Thank you for that!
Last year I visited the Polish tour for the first time by your mercy. I wasn’t sure that I could go there, so I asked you for a blessing, and after that everything turned out as perfectly as possible, as if by magic! Thank you for the opportunity to be immersed into the atmosphere of service and preaching, into the mood of the spiritual world! I promise you that I will always do my best to serve at the Polish tour every year.
I still have a long way to go back home, back to Godhead, but I am sure that by following your footsteps I will manage to go it till its very end. Thank you for appearing in my life and illuminating it with the light of love for Krishna!
Hare Krishna!
Your servant, bhaktin Ekaterina
