From bhaktin Olga Barovikova – Russia, Saint Petersburg
Dear Guru Maharaj,
Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of Your lotus feet. All glories to Guru and Gauranga! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
First of all, I would like to congratulate You on Your Vyasa Puja day and express my gratitude to You! Dear Gurudev! It will be only three years in September since I met the devotees, but you came into my life even before this wonderful event because in the chain of those who brought me to Krishna Consciousness were Your disciples. Actually, matajis who I watched for and admired on Instagram. And when I found out that each of them had a spiritual teacher, and that You were their Master, I immediately thought that I would like You to be my Spiritual teacher too, because I wanted to be like them.
Dear Guru Maharaj, you have been with me from the very beginning. And I thank You immensely for Your kindness. Your love and compassion for Your disciples, as well as to all suffering souls, is unlimited. Your great heart must be able to accommodate and doubtless accommodate all of us, at least I feel that You accept me in Your heart.
When I think about it, my gratitude to You and admiration has no limit. What would I be without You? You have changed me and my life. And getting inspiration from You I would really like to be useful to You somehow and contribute to Your great preaching. Dear Gurudev, the way you are immensely devoted to Srila Prabhupada and how You try to do everything to give pleasure to Him, is also an example and an endless inspiration for me.
Guru Maharaj, thanks to You every day is a good day because if my day is hard, the memories of You immediately make it good! For You all difficulties are not difficulties, but mercy. I also try to perceive everything in my life as Your mercy and the mercy of our dear Lord.
You seem to contain all the most exalted human qualities, but in addition to the devotion to Your Spiritual teacher, Your fearlessness amaze me so much! I pray at least for a drop of Your fearlessness to be able to participate in preaching and make my life useful in Srila Prabhupada’s mission.
Dear Gurudev, I would like to be able to give You my whole life, and I hope that one day I will become worthy of it.
Dreaming of becoming a faithful servant of Your servants, bhaktin Olga
