from Kishore Das – India, Mumbai

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

Please accept my prostrated obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. All glories to you on this most auspicious occasion of celebrating your divine appearance in this

world.

As stated by Prahlada Maharaja to Lord Nrsimhadeva in the Srimad Bhagavatam, 7.9.28:

evaṁ janaṁ nipatitaṁ prabhavāhi-kūpe kāmābhikāmam anu yaḥ prapatan prasaṅgāt
kṛtvātmasāt surarṣiṇā bhagavan gṛhītaḥ
so ’haṁ kathaṁ nu visṛje tava bhṛtya-sevām

“Thus, by associating with material desires one after another, I was following the general populace by falling into a blind well full of snakes. My dear Lord, O Supreme Personality of Godhead! Then the great sage Narada Muni kindly accepted me as his disciple, and instructed me how to achieve the transcendental position similar to his own. How could I ever leave the service of your servant?”

You are the Personification for this verse, One of the Ocean of qualities that you have, Your Faith, Conviction On your Spiritual Master — Srila Prabhupada is way beyond these material eyes of imagination, it has no limit.

I beg and pray at your lotus feet to please bestow blessings and mercy, so that I may develop a drop of magnanimous qualities that you have.

On this day, as your unqualified disciple I pray and beg, that I may continue to follow regulative principles and chant my Japa more sincerely as a service at your lotus feet and someday, I hope to become qualified and to be able to become sincere on this path of bhakti and return back home back to godhead with your help.

Thank you Srila Gurudeva, for your online classes and specifically your presence on Facebook. It is like a daily dose: every time I open a facebook, I see a post on your wall, it gives immense joy and rejuvenates the spirit. Your posts and lectures are our hope in this challenging time.
We missed you in Mumbai this year.
Looking forward eagerly for your association in the near future.

All glories to You on this most blessed event in celebrating your Sri Vyasa Puja Maha Mahotsava!

Your Eternal Servant, Kishore Das
