Dear Gurudeva,

I lost my father at a very young age. Around the age of five. It was very tough because I felt shelterless. After that me and my mother had to face a lot of troubles in terms of financial aspects. We would
have to change our houses frequently since we didn’t own one and had to keep renting. We changed around 8–10 houses. The moment I got attached to a particular place we would have to shift to another place no sooner, since the landlord would ask us to leave. It didn’t take me much time to realise that no shelter in this material word was infallible. It gave me a lot of anxiety sometime because I didn’t know where was that infallible shelter and how to find it.

Fortunately one of my aunts asked me to attend a sattvic cooking workshop. And it happened to be in Sri Sri Radha Gopinath temple. That’s where I found the most infallible shelter — Krishna. It was like my life had taken and turn for the better. My husband is very fond of your classes and kirtans and that’s how I got introduced to them. And it is through them that I started taking your sanga.

We happened to meet you for the first time at the Chowpatty temple where you so kindly and lovingly did the annaprashan sanskar for our daughter Ishwari. We continued to take your sanga through vaani until the day of initiation where you so kindly gave us a spiritual identity personally speaking to us. It was a sublime experience. I had tears of joy.

Thank you, Gurudeva, for accepting us as your disciples although we are not very much qualified. Thanks for being our spiritual father. Thanks for taking us closer to the most infallible shelter, to our eternal home and our eternal father Sri Krishna.
