My dearest Srila Gurudeva, please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you.

Your mercy has no limit. You are the shelter of the fallen, the saviour of the lost, the deliverer of the unworthy. You are the Lord and master of my heart, the Lord and master of my soul. Please take me with you wherever you go.

Who would not follow you? Bhakti is made easy with you leading the way. Your merciful words during each nectarean lecture anchors one’s agitated mind to the spiritual world. These precious moments of association with you are my lifeline. Please take me with you wherever you go.

Adventure after adventure all on the transcendental plane, delivering so many lost souls. You carry out the mission of your beloved spiritual master and of Lord Caitanya with such enthusiasm. I pray for that enthusiasm in my preaching. I am not at all qualified but you inspire me to do more, in whatever small way I can. Please, Srila Gurudev, be merciful unto me and engage me in your service. Please take me with you wherever you go.

My ever expanding debt to you for accepting me at your lotus feet can never be paid. You saw right through me – to my rotten core. Yet you accepted this sinful beggar. I repeatedly offer my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. May I imbibe in my heart the same unwavering faith that you have for your spiritual master. Please take me with you wherever you go.

Blessed be your appearance day for it was my good fortune. I am fallen and insignificant. You are my only shelter, the light that leads the way out of this miserable material emptiness. The whole world is sanctified merely by your presence. Please take me with you wherever you go.

My Lord and master, I pray that I am constantly engaged in loving devotional service at your lotus feet birth after birth. Please be merciful to me. Please, please, please take me with you wherever you go.
