From Vedavati devi dasi – New Zealand, Tauranga
Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my most humble obeisances on this glorious occasion of your appearance.

“I offer my repeated obeisances unto His Divine Grace Indradyumna Swami, who is a very dear servant of Srila Prabhupada, for he is the ecstasy of the Ratha-Yatra festival. He makes the devotees blissful by his rousing Krishna kirtan and he is always protected by Lord Nrsimhadeva.”
Hare Krishna! I have been meditating on this vyasa puja homage for months, and just a couple of days ago I finally had the realization of who you really are – as it says in your pranams – you are a very dear servant of Srila Prabhupada.
You are continuously travelling and preaching the message of Lord Caitanya which our Srila Prabhupada has brought to the west by the mercy of his spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarawati Gosvami Maharaja. I’m sure that Srila Prabhupada is so pleased with everything you are doing.
I listen to your classes whenever the opportunity arises, which help me to hold tight to our Guru Parampara, and I pray that someday I will also have the opportunity to travel and preach. It is there, and as Srila Prabhupada said – only time separates.
Right now, I am still entangled in family life (and I don’t begrudge that), cooking for the extended family, back working again, looking after grandchildren, growing vegetables and fruit which we can offer to our Lordships and all the gardening that goes along with it.
We have a thriving devotee community in Katikati which is growing every year. I know that the devotees would love it if some day in the not-too distant future you could find your way down to the little old New Zealand and give us your association. It would be great to have your association at the National Hare Krishna festival in July this year. It is close to Rotorua and not far from us.
Thank you for accepting me as your most unworthy disciple, Vedavati devi dasi.
