From bhakta Yang Xiyi – China, Yiyang

My Srila Gurudeva, my dear Spiritual Father,

Please accept my very humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to you.

During the Kartika month of last year, you took us to a program in the outskirts of New Delhi. You gave a half hour speech on the stage. Due to the brightness of the spotlight, you were besieged by tens of thousands of mosquitoes. Staring at them, I wondered how uncomfortable you must be, however, it seems that you were not disturbed at all. At that moment, I was dumbfounded by how incredible you are.

After coming back from India, whenever I was trapped in all kinds of material trifles, the warmness of the gentle touch of your lotus feet on my head soothed me; and whenever I was confused about my future, or grieved on wrongly treated by others, your word of “I promise that I will bring you to the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada” has inspired me. Echoing your words, and reflecting on the heroic figure standing on the stage who is completely detached with
any physical comfort, I suddenly realize since I have already got the greatest guarantee from you, what do I worry about or afraid of?

Dear Srila Gurudeva, even a little drop of nectar from you can charge the little fallen soul with full strength, needless to say you have bestowed me such great kindness! Thank you for pushing me forward with courage and fearlessness on the path of devotional service.

I earnestly pray to Lord Narasimha to always protect you, to make more conditional souls to get your mercy and to have the good fortune to hear the Holy name of Lord Hari.

On the beautiful day of your appearance, please allow me to wish you a happy birthday and good health.
