From bhaktin Maria Pravednikova – Russia, Saint Petersburg

Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet.
I am very excited to write the offering, but I know it is my service.
Let me congratulate you on your birthday and allow me to express my best wishes of health and strength in the service to your Spiritual Master Srila Prabhupada. Let your disciples be a source of great joy for you!
I am very happy that you continue your service despite your complicated surgery. All the members of my family are praying to go to the Polish tour this summer and to the Holy Dham on Kartik.
Unfortunately I don’t have a constant service at the temple. I have a constant service at a girls’ school; we are developing the ideas of woman moral upbringing there with another devotee, and I also chant sixteen rounds a day. My husband and I want to start a Bhakti-vriksha group. We have completed the ISKCON Disciple Course course and are getting ready for initiation and also participate in harinamas. Please accept all these kinds of service as my offering to you.
Please accept my gratitude for the example you give and for the power I obtain from you for my sadhana and service to the mission and to my family. You are supporting my faith and showing me the goal and the way that I shall follow.
Thank you for your books, especially for the “Diary of a Travelling Monk” and “Tsunami of Mahaprabhu’s Kripa”. The stories in the books reveal the spiritual pastimes that are happening here and now.
I am sorry for not being very resolute and that my efforts of the spiritual path are not enough. Please bless me to obtain more desire and energy to serve the mission of yours and Srila Prabhupada. Please bless me to come to the Polish tour and to the Holy Dham with you this year. Hare Krishna!
Your aspiring disciple, bhaktin Maria Pravednikova
