Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances unto your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you. I got acquainted to you, dear Srila Gurudeva, in February 2010, when I first met the devotees. By their mercy I had a chance to listen to some amazing kirtans; so one day I heard the voice, whose owner changed my whole life; that was you singing. From that moment I had been praying to meet you as soon as possible, dear Srila Gurudeva. And only in April 2016 by your causeless mercy we met in Almaty at the Goloka Fest that you attended with your companions.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, thank you very much for your inspiring classes and books full of infinite wisdom that fill us with enthusiasm and determination. You constantly provide us with such a valuable realization of what Srila Prabhupada wanted from his followers and you also instruct us by speaking about the purpose of chanting the holy name and the purpose of human life. By your mercy one can get what he needs so much, namely the faith in the process of devotional service. And the only thing I humbly hope is a drop of your mercy…
By your exalted example, dear Srila Gurudeva, you show how we should be engaged in the mission of Srila Prabhupada and what kind of deep faith we should have in the instructions of the spiritual master.
I am so lucky, because by your mercy I have association with your sincere and serious disciples from Kazakhstan. Their life is based upon the books and classes of Srila Prabhupada and your instructions. The association with them cleansed my heart, spiritualized my mind and I am gradually realizing that association with devotees is a healing balm for such a conditioned soul like me.
Last spring, May 1, 2019 in Yekaterinburg, at the “From Heart to Heart” festival, you were so kind to accept me as your disciple… And I am forever indebted to you for that! Although that time I was so weak and my health was really bad, that still happened only by the mercy of my godsisters and by your inexplicable mercy.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, I am grateful to you for being compassionate and patient to me. Dear Srila Gurudeva, let me become worthy of your lotus feet and keep making efforts to satisfy you one day with my spiritual progress by your mercy.
Srila Gurudeva, you inspire me to read the books of the great Srila Prabhupada and to realize what boundless compassion He had and what a great work He did to save the fallen souls… Recently I took the online course of “Conscious reading of Srila Prabhupada’s books”, which inculcates in us a taste for regular reading of his perfect books. And I only pray to be immersed in this taste forever…
As I was listening to your classes and reading your books, I realized that I still have a long, long way to go; I’m still trying to be faithful and asking you to shower your divine mercy on me to make me an instrument in the mission of your dear spiritual master Srila Prabhupada. I would like to become an instrument of your preaching, and to use Vedic knowledge to share the real value and meaning of human life with the people.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, please bless me to become more serious and determined to be always engaged in the service to Vaisnavas and to stay in their company forever.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, I believe that only by your mercy I can overcome my ignorance and become attached to the holy name, to the stories about the pastimes and qualities of the Supreme Lord and His pure devotees.
Please allow me to humbly follow you, trying to fulfill your instructions and to be engaged in the mission of Srila Prabhupada, which comes from Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Himself and is our only salvation.
