Dear Srila Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

My beloved Gurudeva, you are the eternal servant of your spiritual master. Every day you have dedicated your life to serve Srila Prabhupada and the Lord Caitanya’s mission. Your exemplary teachings with kindness and compassion changed people’s hearts and transformed them to become Vaisnavas.

The five year old boy Prahlad Maharaja gained what even the chief demigods never did — a blessing of Lord Nrisimha who placed His hand on his head. You seem to have been likewise rewarded by God that you have shown noticeable unaffected bravery and confidence in spreading His transcendental message most strongly and fearlessly all around the world.

In Srimad Bhagavatam [2.1.5] Srila Prabhupada explains: “Hearing about and glorifying the Lord are identical with the transcendental nature of the Lord, and by doing so, one will be always in the association of the Lord. This brings freedom from all sorts of fear.”

Srila Gurudeva, I love to listen to your classes, the way you described the glories of Radha Krishna pastimes in the Vrindavana forest, the way you recite the prayers with so much attention to correct pronunciation. I love to listen to your kirtans, as your transcendental voice directs the holy names to the core of my heart and the sweet rhythmic melodies pick me up to dance vigorously. I love your firm teachings, reminders, instructions through which I can learn and practice the importance of Krishna consciousness philosophy such as the japa, the sankirtana, Deity worship, preaching programs and being part of organizing festivals.

Your words purify my heart and mind and will take me to Krishna. I have no doubts in it. I humbly pray at your lotus feet that I may always be allowed to serve you and become a true instrument to your instructions.
