Dear Srila Gurudeva,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you on this auspicious day of your appearance!

I feel very fortunate to read my offering to you on your Appearance day. In all these years this is only the second time I have had this opportunity.

May I first thank you for your webinars. I feel so blessed to have your association in my home 3 times a week, or more. I have never had so much of your association. It is wonderful!

Living in rural Arkansas, my husband and I are fortunate not to be so affected by the pandemic. We have been taking all precautions and only rarely venturing into town, outside of work. As an essential worker, caring for intellectual disabled adults, I have been concerned about contracting the virus and infecting my husband who has serious health issues. My son’s partner has just given birth to my first grandchild in the middle of the pandemic in London. I have been concerned for the health of my grandson and elderly father, especially as we are separated by the Atlantic Ocean, and I am not there for them. Before the pandemic I had booked a flight to see them at the end of June, but that flight will likely be cancelled.

But your webinars have kept my worries subdued and my consciousness more elevated in wonderful pastimes of Vrindavan, Mayapur and other holy places. So thank you so much, Srila Gurudeva, for making this time so special.

As devotees we are so fortunate. We always have the service of Radha and Krsna, whether inside, or outside our homes. With no visitors coming to the temple my husband and I have, I am continuing to reach out to our congregation, endeavoring to share this good fortune with them, and to share your webinars. I am also giving gifts of Srila Prabhupada’s books to people in town. I put a book in an envelope, write a comforting message on the front and leave an envelope on car windscreens. Social distancing book distribution.

It must be difficult for you, Srila Gurudeva, with your wonderful preaching activities being cancelled. Especially, the Woodstock and Polish Tour. It will also be a strange Memorial Weekend without Sadhu Sanga.

Unfortunately, in March, our first Rath Yatra in Memphis was cancelled. We may also have to cancel Ratha Yatras in Texarkana and Little Rock due to take place in October.

I am feeling separation from Murari Sevaka Farm since my husband and I have not been able to visit since February and continue our services there. It is a time for patience; tolerance; introspection; understanding; acceptance and trusting, that Krsna has everything in hand and has arranged everything perfectly.

I can never repay you, Srila Gurudeva, for all the mercy and inspiration you have given me. I am so unworthy. My life would be meaningless without your mercy and your presence in my life. Please continue to bless me so I can continue following in your footsteps and serving Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya in His sankirtan army. This is becoming my life and soul.

Your eternal and humble disciple, Sri Rangavati Dasi
