From Advaita Kripa das – Ukraine, Kharkiv

Dear Srila Gurudev,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glory to Srila Prabhupada!
It has been one year since you officially accepted me as a disciple, but unofficially, it feels like more than ten years. I vividly recall your lecture where you said, “Slowly, but steadily.” However, now I feel the need to move faster. In another lecture, you shared a story about an old man diving into the ocean, emphasizing the importance of diving into Srimad Bhagavatam. Those words deeply touched my heart. Although I am only 45 years old, I feel a strong desire to immerse myself in the wisdom of Bhagavatam.
I want to express my sincere gratitude for providing me with all the necessary tools: lectures, kirtans, a Diary, and direct instructions during the Polish Festival. Thanks to your mercy, I have been fortunate enough to be accepted into the team that is translating Srimad Bhagavatam into the Ukrainian language. This service is of great importance and occupies most of my productive time. I hope that with your guidance, I can continually improve my service.
Additionally, my wife, Sundari-Kishori devi dasi, and I are dedicated to teaching the children of devotees. Although the current circumstances have brought numerous difficulties due to the war, we are doing our best to preserve the remnants of gurukula in Kharkiv. Currently, we conduct online classes with the hope of reestablishing normal processes in the near future.
It breaks our hearts that we are unable to join the service at the Polish festival, and as summer approaches, this sadness only deepens. However, we hold onto hope that this love in separation from you and the devotees will purify and awaken our true spiritual senses with the help of the Holy Name, Bhagavatam, and your boundless mercy.
Thank you for your constant guidance and blessings.
Your servant, Advaita Kripa das.
