Speaking on behalf of Syama Priya and myself we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us shelter at your lotus feet. We will be forever grateful. We see your mercy in our lives everyday as we were both born into ignorance, and begin to see only by the torchlight of knowledge provided by your grace.
Here at your Vyasa-Puja celebration today we came to let you know we rededicate ourselves to your service of your spiritual master His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada.
To be connected to our Gaudiya Vaisnava parampara through your Grace is a miracle for us. Srila Prabhupada explains in his purport to S B. 3.25..30
“Knowledge of the absolute truth is not very easily understood by ordinary, less intelligent men; but if the spiritual master is kind enough to the disciple, however unintelligent the disciple may be, then by the divine grace of the spiritual master everything is revealed. Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura therefore says, yasya prasadam, by the mercy of the spiritual master, the mercy of the supreme personality of Godhead, bhagavat-prasadah, is revealed.” Therefore, we pray to be good and worthy disciples, never to let you down, but to please you.
It is by your grace only that we can be delivered from the mire of ignorance.
So it is that we worship you today as one who delivers your disciples from the mire of ignorance. The word “paragam” is used in S.B. It refers to one who can take the disciple to the other side. This side is conditioned life; The other side is the life of freedom. The spiritual master takes the disciple to the other side by opening his eyes with knowledge. We are suffering simply because of ignorance. By the instruction of the spiritual master, The darkness of ignorance is removed, And therefore the disciple is enabled to go to the side of freedom.
We pray for your and the Lords mecy and grace forever and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
