Dear Srila Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to this brilliant day on which you chose to appear.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, first and foremost I would like to thank you for allowing me to write to you, thereby giving the opportunity to obtain your most valuable association. Secondly, I would like to thank you for accepting me as your disciple out of your causeless mercy. You chose the perfect time to throw the lifeline to me. It was the time when my husband left me, and the children were away on a four-day school trip. After fifteen years, I was completely alone in the house, having no idea what to do with myself, having no one to cook dinner for, nobody to wash clothes for, nobody to tidy up after. I just sat on the sofa, relishing this new experience, and then I got a notification on my phone that an e-mail arrived from
Nilamani, forwarding the letter from Srila Gurudeva. I am keeping this letter forever, something to treasure forever. The real life buoy. I am happy and my heart is full of gratitude, having become your disciple. I will strive to be worthy of this mercy every day of my life.

tvaṁ naḥ sandarśito dhātrā
dustaraṁ nistitīrṣatām
kaliṁ sattva-haraṁ puṁsāṁ
karṇa-dhāra ivārṇavam

„We think that we met your Goodness by the will of providence, just so that we may accept you as the captain of the ship of those who desire to cross the difficult ocean of Kali, which deteriorates all the good qualities of a human being.” (Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 1.1.22) Nothing can give greater happiness and satisfaction than Krishna Consciousness. And as you put it, the process has become even more nectarean. Your lectures have become my shelter, it is wonderful how you show events of your life and use them to illustrate the topics at hand. This way you simultaneously teach and awaken attachment in your listeners. Your words are overflowing with love and compassion. Your incomparable devotion and love for Srila Prabhupada melts our hearts. We all owe our spiritual lives to you, you who untiringly
spreads this spiritual message all around the world.
Dear Srila Gurudeva, I wish that you continue to rain your mercy on the fallen souls for many
more years to come. All glories to you!
