Hare Krishna Dear Srila Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances 🙏,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada,
All glories to you Gurudeva,

Who can say you don’t always remain with each of your thousands of disciples?
Sometimes it’s tough to think that I am serving you when i am assisting in preaching mission far from you and unknown to you. But in reality, when the service is done even if I had no qualification to do it, then it’s evident that you are always there assisting me and everything is known to you.

Who needs words to glorify when you have footsteps to follow?
Your whole life is the most beautiful garland of Vyasa Pooja offerings to your spiritual master where every petal of this garland is dripping the juice of your spiritual master’s mission of compassion, just by mere proximity of which, one is permanently intoxicated and becomes oblivious of material life. O Gurudeva, please grant me similar fate to become this garland in your glorification.

Who can say he is short of qualifications and fortune?
Wherever you go, whatever you speak, whoever you meet, whomever you present, you give Krishna without any distinctions, this decries the concept of fortune and misfortune, qualifications and disqualifications. Just by this causeless mercy of yours, you have transformed inhabitants of this bhuloka as some kind of demigods.

Seeing all these miracles of yours, I sincerely aspire with intense greed for a similar destination from you. It’s been 27 years since my birth and i have passed all these years majority without knowing you. Now if you so desire my rest of life may not pass in same ignorance. I sincerely seek shelter at your lotus feet.
Please accept me as your desciple.

Please accept these lines even not meticulously composed as a small kid with his stammering voice tries to glorify his father-

नौमि नौमि श्रीगुरुमपवर्गैकनिमित्ततम्।
भ्रमणानुकम्पाविग्रहं नौमि भवभञ्जकमहं ।।

“I bow to Sri Guru who is the only cause of apavarga (liberation), i bow to him who is diety of travelling compassion and who breaks material existence.”

Please accept the below breif report of this year’s service i am doing, Srila Gurudev.

Under the guidance of HG Mukund Leela Prabhu (senior desciple of HH RNSM) i am engaged in service in Kolkata and Kharagpur.

Currently I am assisting him in preaching to 2 Universities: IIT at Kharagpur and Jadavpur University at Kolkata, I stay 3 days at both the places. Around 20 and 30 students respectively at both places have started chanting this year and gradually progressing. Services there involve registration of new students by approaching them in classrooms, cooking and carrying prasadam for weekly program, and preparing and presenting Bhagwad Geeta seminars to them thereby gradually introducing chanting to them.
Also 2 days when in Kolkata I am also doing diety services, dressing, worships (although not initiated but allowed for time being in absence of initiated inmates) at Iskcon New Alipore, our small preaching center near Srila Prabhupada’s birth place.
In Kharagpur along with preaching, i have cooking seva for devotees as well. Our Kharagpur center is very dynamic one where we don’t have cooks and this is also a small gurukul for tribal children from around so 15-20 of inmates takes turn in cooking for all and also assist in cooking for mass events of Iskcon Kolkata and other preaching events of other centers here.
Gurudev, currently I am also working remotely 15-20 hours per week as software developer, part of money from this adds to our funds.
Also Gurudev, I am pursuing a PhD in Sanskrit from same university, i started this as an excuse to stay far away from my parent’s place, hopefully this also adds up to some seva in the mission.
Somedays when these preaching are relaxed like during university vacations, I go for book distribution at railway stations or other public places.
