Dearest Srila Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to You.

This year I had the good fortune to visit one of your evening programs at the Rishikesh kirtan festival. What can I say, Srila Gurudeva? It was perfect, I was amazed. You personally greeted the guests at the entrance, you picked the best kirtaniyas to introduce the new people to the Holy Names, the prasadam was delicious, everything was so well-organized, devotees paid such attention to all the needs of the newcomers. Everything was perfect from letter A down to letter Z.

This is how you are, Srila Gurudeva: you are perfect in every service you perform to your spiritual master and this is how you train us too in service. Your festival programs are perfect, your harinamas are perfect, the stage programs at your festivals are perfect, the precision of how you serve your Deities is exquisite, the way you preach to newcomers and to your disciples is perfect, the classes you give are also so accomplished. You are a perfect Vaisnava with a pure heart whose only desire is how to please Srila Prabhupada.

You say many times in your classes that attention to detail is a sign of love and you set the perfect example to us with your excellent seva. We are so fortunate to have such a perfect master like you, Srila Gurudeva. Although I’m very far from being a perfect disciple, I pray that you keep me at the shelter of your lotus feet and continue to guide me and teach me how to become one one day.
